Gratitude = Attitude!
Being grateful for what you have now, is focussing the good things in life because you are grateful no matter what.
The more you are grateful and write it down, the more it will attract good and positive things in your life. Or should I say YOU will attract good events?!

Every day I have made a habit to writing down the things I am grateful and happy for. Since I have this great habit, I notice also the smaller and little things around me and I am truly grateful for that as well.
Life seems more beautiful to me and I love to appreciate the good and small things like the wonderful stars, the full moon, the sunny weather, the first winterflower in the snow, the rare bird, the drawing I created, the lovely people I meet, the croissants I had for breakfast this morning, my friends, my made-up bed, my internet and telephone working good, and skype so I can call and video-call friends across the world for just the cost of my monthly internetconnection…!
What an amazing life I have!

You can also be grateful and happy about the things you want and DON’T have yet.
When you describe the things you want and want to create, your dreams and desires like you already have them and are grateful for them, soon they will start to appear in your existence. It is amazing how strongs this works!
Start your phrase always with: I am so happy and grateful for/ because/ now that …

Example:
I am so happy and grateful for/ because/ now that …

• I am going to Paris with my parents next weekend
• We will celebrate my birthday there together
• This is the first time in years we travel together abroad
• It is the very first time I celebrate my birthday in another country
• This is an amazing birthday I will have
• I am attending this great seminar on my birthday, fantastic!

A part of my artworks is decorating and personalizing writing books: f.i. ‘thank-you notebooks’, success-notebooks, book of shadows, book of dreams and other different writing/drawing books. I usually use blanco standard notebooks or dummy’s.

I have my own personal thank-you notebook dragging around everywhere. Even when I don’t take the time to write in it, I take it with me everywhere because it gives energy and it helps me to always look for the gold.

When interested, I can create a personal writingbook for you, with your name on it.
Here a few examples of what is possible!

Also I actually created a new cover for an old antique book, to support it and enhanced it with the golden drawing of the troll (Het kleine stoute trolletje).

The book (The book of Inspiration, original) with the tiny roses and the mirror f.i. is completely covered in metal patina to make it look old and I also have treated the pages for the same purpose. The 3-D details are sculpted, and I used real lace.

For a contest I made a real book with my own fantasy-story written in it. Obviously it would be priced much higher when you want me to create a real book which takes a few weeks to make it. The same goes for the Book of Inspiration, because of the sculpted details, and the patina to work to get the rusted result.

The brown book on the photo which says: “Illusie of ervaring?” is the example of the handmade book, covered with a wooden layer, normally used in fancy cars and boats.

Unfortunately I only had one of these wooden layers, but as an artist I can come up with a different materials which will also look great.

Although the book with the (Dutch) Victorian fantasy-story is not for sale, I might take a high offer in consideration. The book comes together with a feeling-concept packed in small boxes and bottles…
